Blues Dawg is a contemporary electric blues band, steeped in the traditions of American blues and roots music. Its repertoire consists of both originals and covers, greatly influenced by the blues legends and masters of Chicago, Memphis, Texas and California.

Founded by Joe Neri in Southern California in 1998, Blues Dawg performed at many of the blues and live music venues there, recording two studio and three live albums. Since moving to Northern Arizona in 2005, Blues Dawg continues to gig regularly and has recorded two live albums.

In addition to fronting and managing Blues Dawg, Joe produces the annual Bob Dylan Birthday Party & Concert (since 2006), the annual Holiday Blues Revue (since 2008) and the annual Old Town Blues Fest (since 2011). Joe & Blues Dawg also host a monthly Blues Jam (since 2010).

In addition to Blues Dawg, Joe is the guitarist for Don Whitcher & the Kings of the Border, an Americana/Outlaw Country band.

Since 2006, Joe has produced and performed in the annual Bob Dylan Birthday Party & Concert, along with some of the best musicians in Northern Arizona.
